3.1 - Biography of Jerome Mark Mikullich

3.1 is the music of Jerome Mark Mikulich. He is a graduate of Columbia College in Chicago IL where he
received a B.A. Degree in the Arts, Entertainment and Media Management Program with a focus on sound
engineering in the recording industry.

From 1989-99, Mikulich was the Chief Recording Engineer/Producer at the Playroom Recording Studio in
Chicago, IL. In 1993, Mikulich founded Playroom Records and Productions where he produced, wrote and
engineered his Quyraze music outfit and various artists signed to the label.

During his career Mikulich has worked with Grammy and Platinum award winning artists on Warner
Brothers, Mercury/PolyGram and other major / independent record labels. Mikulich received a platinum
record for engineering in 1996.

Mikulich has wrote and recorded many of his own songs and received a record review in
Billboard Magazine for a song entitled 'It Feels Right' featuring singer 'Nature Love'.

Mikulich began writing his 3.1 music in 1989 with a synthesizer, keyboard sampler and a computer
sequencer. The sound of 3.1 is a melodic high energy mix including customized drums sounds,
percussion instruments, sound bites and synth-bass sounds. Many tracks include his lead and background
vocals. The new high-tech electronic sound of 3.1 is extremely unique and thought provoking.

3.1's debut release is 31 Degrees (and two miles of fog). The album features (10) original songs written
and performed by Mikulich. 3.1's sophomore release is Spiritual Forecas t and contains (14) songs written
